I swear this's the FIRST 21st birthday party I've ever attended!! haha. And I pondered for a moment why is this so.
Firstly, I usually turn birthday invites down unless the birthday girl/boy is a close friend of mine. Oops...haha.
Secondly, my closest circle of friends don't usually throw big parties. There must be a reason why they're my best friends you see ;)
Thirdly, it's such a coincidence that many friends of mine did not celebrate their 21st in Singapore. So... too bad~

I MUST mention this:
Suan Yee (SQ's sweet boyfriend) dropped me a message on fb 3 weeks before the birthday celebration:
"Hi Christina!
It's been awhile, hope you're doing great. Having shared so many memories with Shi Qing, I reckon this party would not be complete without you.
It's held on 12th December (Sunday) at Sunset Way. Surely this will not be easy since its exams period huh? Lemme know what you think alright!

And so, the birthday girl was kept in the dark until she saw many of her childhood friends, old neighbours and NTU friends started appearing at the door! All along she thought the party organiser (her sister) made the arrangement exclusively for their family members.

"No no no! Don't need la!! He stays so far away!! Punggol leh!! No need no need, I'll see him soon anyway."
"No, I must call him...." So PW got him on the line, "Hello? Suan Yee where are you??!! Don't you know there's a 21st b'day party at Shiqing's place today???!! You better fly down, I don't care! I'll give you 5 seconds!!"
"Five.. four.. three.. two...one.." everyone started counting down...
