The(ir) Love for Ramen

If not because of Amos' & Yisheng's love for raaaaaamen, I would never insanely queue for half an hour at the Mandarin Gallery just for that bowl of japanese flour and soy sauce. I think it has been over-rated. But don't get me wrong, I'm not saying their noodles are bad.

On a side note, I've never fancied one of the many bizarre habits of Singaporeans' - queue up whenever there's a queue.

Like I mentioned, their noodles are not bad. In fact, I've to admit that the one I had was totally delicious. Loved the black sauce soup.

Ippudo has recently opened a new outlet at Clarke Quay and I happened to dine there. They've a different set of menu from the one in Mandarin Gallery. Oishi nonetheless.

That was my first encounter with Amos' younger "twin" brother, Alvin. And I was amazed by this unique-looking bag of his. Ultra uber cool. :D
