St Augustine - Tasting It

Upon a local friend's recommendation, we headed straight to Columbia for an expensive lunch.

We decided this would be a good time for no-holds-barred gluttony.

Nice ambiance

Their signature "1905" Salad
Too much cheese! In stripes, in powder, in tiny cubes.... I did not order a vegetarian pizza! :(
The guys loved it though.
Maybe it is just me; I generally do not like too much dressing for my salad. I can imagine Mandy's frowning face, "Eww, Christina you're eating raw food~!!!" Hahaha.

Interesting to watch the waitress making the salad on the spot.

3 of them ordered something similar
The look and the taste.... definitely Chinese!
I thought myself lucky for not getting that, but a "Setes Portes" instead. Read this:
"...tender Cannelloni pasta filled with Maine lobster meat, tender shrimp, pan seared scallops and shallots, blended with a lobster sherry cream reduction..."

Mouth-watering yea?

But.....

You must be kidding me~!
I might die from cheese overdose!!!!!! @___@
I DO like cheese, but that was just way too much for me to handle, especially after an attack from the vegetarian pizza.

And where was the lobster meat?? lols.
I did find two tiny shrimps, one scallop and A LOT of pasta and cheese.
Yummm, the lobster meat must be so tender that it melted in the sauce.
I decided to live contentedly in my delusion.

*P.S. Don't you think the plate looked funny and out-of-place? Or was it me being demanding again? =X

Tommy's "Palomilla" (I think)  was good! :)

No more room for dessert~!!
Do you really think I would order CHEESECAKE??

Fountain outside the restaurant

Tommy has a powerful camera :)

We missed the Whetstone Chocolate Factory tour, but managed to spot a tiny store along the street.

Kyoung Han got this.
Hmmm... no, thank you.

Am I being picky? Not at all ;)

Garden Salad & Baked Potato from Wendy's

I liked Wendy's salad so much more than Columbia's.
With a tad bit of Pomegranate Vinaigrette Dressing, it's just the right way to start my day bright.
Told you, I'm not picky at all. ;)
